Meet Noelle

Founder of Solara Learning | Literacy Coach | Advocate for Sustainable Teaching

HHi there, I’m Noelle. I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m an educator, coach, and consultant with over 14 years of experience supporting teachers, coaches, and school leaders. My work is rooted in a simple belief: when educators are well, students learn better.

I started Solara Learning because I wanted to bring a more sustainable, human-centered approach to early literacy instruction. I help schools create strong foundations in reading and strong cultures of support. You shouldn’t have to choose between instructional excellence and staff well-being.

My path here wasn’t easy. In my early years as a classroom teacher, I quickly found myself overwhelmed, burned out, and unsure of how to keep doing the work I loved. My training didn’t include what it meant to stay well while doing deeply emotional, high-impact work. I had to learn the hard way, and now I get to walk alongside others so they don’t have to.

With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Education from Columbia University and years of experience as a district literacy coach and consultant, I bring both research and empathy to every partnership. Whether I’m leading professional development, coaching one-on-one, or helping school leaders plan for retention, my goal is the same: to make great teaching sustainable.

Let’s build something better, together.

Warmly,
Noelle
